What is the cheapest means of transportation to and from Chicago from Minneapolis?

I'm looking for a busing service or train service that drives from the Twin Cities metro area to the Chicago metropolitan area, preferably the central western area of the city (Carol Stream). Help? also, the duration of the travel itself would preferably be between 12 and 24 hours, or under if possible.
