Used mazda 3 or scion tc ?

so i have 4k saved up and my bank will let me have up to 11k . right now i work full time and go to college 4 days a week so i need a car that will not let me down. i have got it down to 2 cars. yes i did look at civics but finind a clean one not an easy task . even look at rsx type s and cant kind one that is clean. i know down the road i will not be working at all i have college full time and it will be paid off by then. what car a better daily driver and give me less problems . advice
