Which was a more idiotic idea for Marvel comics: Frankencastle, or Brand New Day?

Here in recent years...besides having some really great Ideas, Marvel comics has also came up with two Comic book Ideas which were quite possibly the worst things EVER done, in ANY comic book , since the dawn of man! The latest is the "Frankencastle" story line. For those unfamiliar...The Punisher had recently made a really big comeback in Marvel Comics. While for many years he had been on the outskirts of Marvel Comics....First starting with their seminal and groundbreaking crossover series CIVIL WAR...Marvel decided to bring him back into the center of the Marvel Universe...having him hunt down various Super Criminals while the good guys were busy fighting each other. Also he started gathering up a sophisticated arsenal of stolen super weapons...from Goblin Gliders to once wielding a Baron Strucker version Satan's Claw to punch out The Rhino! It was great!....THEN....here recently....Frank Castle (the Punisher) was killed....and brought back to life as a Frankenstein's Monster. No I am not using an allusion....he was LITERALY brought back as a Frankenstein......BY A BUNCH OF SEWER DWELLING MONSTERS!!! Including Vampires (pseudo-vampire technically, but whatever) a Mummy!...Yeah..a freakin' MUMMY! and a Fish Man a la "Creature From The Black Lagoon".....Dear Lord...its as if a five year old started writing the book!!! Its just ridiculous, and insulting to the intelligence of the readers. OK well I covered that one....there is only IMHO one other storyline that comes close to the idiocy of "Frankencaslte"...the only difference is that this one actually affected the ENTIRE Marvel Universe! So if we are talking just about raw scale here...then there is no contest...the Punisher storyline only really affects one character..while "BRAND NEW DAY" changed EVERYTHING. OK, a quick recap of that one...Spider-man had gone through some changes through the years...some I was happy about...others I didn't like at first, but they grew on me with time. No longer was the the awkward teen with a crappy job and an obsession with the unattainable Mary Jane Watson. Now he was an Awkward MAN...with a decent job teaching school kids!!! AND he was married to Mary Jane! The character had evolved...and many of his long time fans, and grown up, and evolved with him. There was some minor power changes too...He was a bit stronger....a bit faster at healing...his Spider sense was a bit keener...nothing major, we ain't talking 'bout his powers doubling or anything....He just got a bit better all around. The only major differences was that he produced natural webs instead of needing web shooters (this was the only one I didn't like...personally I always imagined that a real spider/human would shoot webs out of their , instead of their hands....doesn't make sense...but oh well, I got used to it. Oh and he got some little spider claw things that popped out, but only rarely. Usually only when he was fighting a supernatural type guy, for some reason. Yeah that was stupid too...but it was a minor kind of stupid....the thing us fans can get used to pretty easily. THEN... there came the story line to retcon every thing.....BRAND NEW DAY. In this story line Spider-man's 300 year old aunt may (I dunno how old she was...but come on...she was up there) got injured and was going to die. SO marvels version of Satan (Mephisto) made a deal with Peter Parker, and his Wife....their Relationship would have never existed. Done....literally erased out of history. And for that he got the chance to save his aunt...who honestly would probably be kicking the bucket within a few years anyway. Yeah...it was a RETARDED thing for Peter to do, no matter how much he loved his aunt. The REALLY retarded thing though, was the results of this deal...which for some reasons the writers decided that it making Peter and Mary Jane, not get together....also meant that 10 years of Spider-mans history (which was completely wrapped up in the entirety of the Marvel Universe) would have to be re-written in a way that made absolutely no sense. For some reason now Spider-man was back to having a crappy job....lost all of his power upgrades.....no longer (Oh sorry I forgot to mention this..I will get to this in a second) had his Identity known to the world.....and basically became the loser he was about 10 years ago (although he did not physically get younger...he just acted it IMHO) Let me briefly explain the whole "identity" thing, that I forgot to explain earlier. Due to the Civil War...Spider-man had joined Iron Mans side (the 'bad' good guys) who were pro registration....(think of them like Republicans)....and fought against the "good" good guys group ran by Captain America.
