Looking for a book about Faeries.?

I am looking for a book about Faeries for a friend for Christmas. I am not looking for one dealing with anything having to do w/ the occult, how to communicate or use the Fae. I want one that talks about Faerie lore, types, and history. If its nicely illustrated that would be good too. I have also seen these books on line. Good Faeries Bad Faeries by Brian Froud, Faeries (25th Anniversary Edition) by Brian Froud and Alan Lee, The Great Encyclopedia Of Faeries by Pierre Dubois. Anyone read these or others they may suggest on the the subject?
