I have a random lump on one side of my neck..?

I think of swollen lymph gland. or possibly you are messing around with your jugular vein or carotid artery. if you are having fever, it could an infection like mono, causing the lymph gland to enlarge in its effort to fight the infection. I recommend seeing a Doctor if fever, if not leave the thing alone. get help if it grows over time,
